keeping your loved ones safe and supported today and always.
Update Effective 3.1.2021 Bross Street Assisted Living is happy to report that our residents and staff have received their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and are doing well! We are grateful for the opportunity to vaccinate our residents and those who care for them, in the hopes that this additional step will provide an added layer of protection against the COVID virus.
We are also happy to report that we have both indoor and outdoor visitation, as the infection rate in Boulder County is low, and our home remains free of outbreaks. Visitors are encouraged to monitor for any symptoms before their visit, call ahead for a 45 minute appointment, and be prepared to be screened at arrival. Social distancing and mask wearing are required during the visit, to ensure we maintain our infection control measures.
In addition, our home has resumed limited communal dining, and activities. We encourage our residents to continue to wear a mask while in the common areas, and maintain social distancing, but we could not be happier to be able to offer them opportunities for socialization and entertainment!
We continue to screen daily for symptoms in both our residents and staff members, along with taking vitals to ensure we do not miss a thing! All our staff wear PPE, and residents are also supplied with face masks and hand sanitizer for their protection. Bross Street is committed to the safety and well-being of our residents and staff, and continue to follow all state and local guidelines in an effort to do our part in ending the spread of COVID-19
Update Effective 8.25.2020 We continue to be fortunate at Bross Street Assisted Living that we have had no documented cases of covid-19 in our facility. We continue to follow all CDC and State Regulations to ensure safety for our residents. We have an ample supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are prepared with numerous precautionary protocols in the event it is needed, though luckily we have had a calm environment during covid-19 thus far. We have been fully utilizing the beauty and space of our home that is located in a quiet neighborhood. Bross Street Assisted Living has a beautiful front porch and renovated garden area for our residents to safely enjoy the outdoors throughout the day and with visitors.
Virtual Connections at Bross During covid-19 we made it a priority to insure that each Resident had the ability to connect with their loved ones. As a result, we purchased each Resident an iPad with the ability to make zoom calls to their families and providers. Our staff have provided technical training and we offer daily assistance to our Residents so they can continue to connect with the individuals in their lives that are important to them.
