When you’re working through the process of identifying what level of care your loved one needs, the important things to keep in mind boil down to how independent they can be. Are they able to function primarily on their own, or do they need assistance with most aspects of their day-to-day life?

At Bross Street, we provide quality living for individuals who are relatively independent but may need the security of 24 hour staff onsite. We consider ourselves as an assisted living facility instead of a nursing home. There’s a subtle difference there, but it’s very important when deciding which housing option is best suited for your situation because a nursing home provides a greater depth of moment-by-moment attention.

While our residents are never alone unless they choose to be, and we provide plenty of activities, outings, and delicious meals for our community members, residents are able to function primarily on their own. If your loved one needs a greater depth of constant care, perhaps a nursing home is a better fit. ​

What Kind of a Budget are You Comfortable With?

There are several quality care options for seniors that accept Medicaid and other insurance. Even though our monthly cost is on par with most other assisted living facilities in Colorado, we do not accept Medicaid or insurance, and our residents are funded through private payers only.
